yesterday...something really disturbing happened. disturbing meaning it disturbed my sleep ALOT. current location, blk 40at 0830+.
yesterday, met up with a fren, matthew, to talk shop about our business venture and 10 year plan. he was at the moment quite caught up in his half-hanging relationship. furthermore, that seems to be his only source of power to continue on whatever, he is doin now.
so out of concern, he asked about how was that aspect of my life comin along. that meaning the relationship aspect. it was like re-opening an old wound...
recently, or more accurately jus previous post, i did an analytical view and perspective on the topic LOVE. recieved quite a fair bit of thrashing though, and i wondered why. maybe i wasnt kinda of expecting that level of thrashing. cos i thot i had finally shone a light at the dark misty path at this field. oh well, so far no postive comments nor any indication that my theory draws parallel to real-life situation. sigh...
returning back home from the business venture, i felt tired and went to bed immediately. it shld be around midnite when i hit the sack. amazing, i woke up at around 0500+(didnt check the clock). then i tossed and turned on the bed for the next few waking hours. doing wat? thinking...matthew's topic had stayed in my mind long and hard till the point of disturbing my sleep.
imagine...i actually had the power, capability and destructiviness to ruin 2 friendship at a go. wow...and let all beware that when alan has power, he is all foolish, rash and stupid.
after numerous times of reading her blog previously, enlightenment came only at this morning 0715(i actually stood up to look at my alarm clock). i finally saw the light shining at the end of the tunnel. i finally could understand her perspective, understand why she was stumped. it all make sense now.
life was great before affairs of heart entered into alan's life. he was at minimum happy. he was a disturbed, deranged and disllusional but happy in his own right. that was the growing years. change came at around secondary school, when he and messenger of love crossed path. complexity drew.
usually, i will wake around 0730 and still laze around in bed. usually take the 0800 66 bus, reach school at around 0800++ near 0900 jus nice for my 0900 classes. now that i woke up at 0715, i was relatively earlier for my schedule. hmmmm...
jus then i noticed a habit, that i think i jus grew. i went and shave off my facial hair(not including my eyebrows) and trim my nostril hair. haha...the habit is actually not the trimming of my facial hairs. its actually something to do with cleaning. recently i feel that whenever, i feel bored and stressed out. i pick up something to clean. the first was my ledge at the windows. second was my Nalgene bottle. the third is now my face.
weird?...nah~ it think it may be working out to be a good habit. after all, who can say that there can be no stress in life. hehe...so when stress then clean something. end up with a more hygenic environment, less likely to get sick and less likely to be more stressed. :) weird but workable logic. haha...so i guess whenever, you see a really presentable alan. i guess it would mean a really rough patch for alan. so pray you see a really shagged out alan. hahaha...
still lingering on the relationship aspect of my life. haha...despite changin topic here and there... still...haiz!! maybe the next thing will be to keep out of this field for a while...
LiNG progress.....zero

today at NLP(neuro-linguistic programming;defined by google : Neuro-Linguistic Programming, a therapeutic process which enables you to break old patterns and generate unlimited potential using posture, breathing, specific exercises, awareness and communication skills.) lesson, finally saw the light of application. so i am kinda of dedicating this post to all those who are lost in the field of LOVE
HOW to know who is in LOVE and whose NOT?(the tell-tale signs)
i was initially quite troubled with the affairs of the heart. maybe its because of my discipline and training as an engineer. i am taught to read indicators and analysis from all possible angles and viewpoints. then when it comes to girls, there always seems to be a lack of indicators to base my analysis. not to mention the lack of assumption to predict the possible outcomes. then came NLP, the engineer's approach to the heart.
the key word is rapport(defined by google:Rapport is one of the most important features or characteristics of unconscious human interaction. It is commonality of perspective, being in "sync", being on the same wavelength as the person you are talking to.).
there are always people in your life that you are closer to and some that you jus dun think you would want to be in the same room with. this is due to the either the non-intention to rapport a certain sterotype of people or the inflexiblity of rapporting a different type of people from you.
the level of rapport is jus the first indicator that shld go off. during this rapport, the potential candiate would get himself/herself more and more interested in knowing more you. this would be the intention of rapport. this intention will very likely be picked up by observant or intutive people, or by warning from friends. without this intention of rapport, there will be no further need to read on. and like i have said, this is only the entry level. not everyone is a potential candiate YET.
stage two. this stage will consist a more advanced stage of rapporting, mirroring. there will be a few level of mirroring happening as well. there can be mirroring of tonality, type of words used, guesture and even posture. all these are still quite preliminary stages and nothing shld be confirmed. slowly as all these mirroring continues, it becomes difficult to distinct between which actions and mannerism actually is distinct to who.
stage 3. this stage will still be considered in the advanced stage of rapporting, matching. as from the previous stage, the potential candiate will try to mimic and mirror the type of words used. this is in a bid to learn and havin a matching response to attain the maximum 'sync' between any two person.
i will stop here, as i do believe that up till this stage, you will eventually hear the knock of your lover at the doorstep of your heart.
this is a guideline written for those who have difficulty finding their potential LOVERs in the midst. thus no elaboration is made at the 3rd stage. for sincere people who require more information, please contact me @ alan.koh@gmail.com.
till now...my counter for the number of girlfriends is still 0. :)

yesterday...watched initial D movie plus got myself a new bag...YEA!!!!
initial D wasnt exactly up there in drift performance, cinematics and cast as compared to the anime series. the movie was also VERY VERY packed. there are altogether 4 stages(4 seasons) in the anime series. the movie, nicely packed all the 4 stages into a 2hr screentime. WOW!!! gotta give credits for the storyboard pple. THUMBS Up.
there were of course lots of parts that differ from the anime series. so many that i also lazy to point out. but i guess the change was for the increase entertainment value of the movie, so i guess you can call it a unique feature. the most disappointing change was Ryo's car. wasnt it suppose to be a mazda RX-7? Edison didnt pull it off as a takashi. not that i am trying to be mean, but its jus that he didnt have that height that i thot he might have. furthermore, he looked too boy-ish to play that cool level-headed leader and strategist of Project D.
oh jus to rebutt all those who remarked about jay's acting. i am not exactly a jay fan. jus appreciate all the lyrics in his songs, so in fact i am more of a fan of Fang Wen San(方文山). personally, i think jay did quite well.
firstly, takumi was pretty much expressionless. secondly, so was jay. thirdly, i think he protrayed the character really well. its like pro antique dealers, listening to those antique amatuer talk about antique. advice:please watch the anime series or at least read the comics(not so recommending it). jay could actually bring out the subtle feelings of takumi. i guess i was being again too observant at the movies again...:)
overall, that movie gives a rough intro into the initial D world. dun take everything you see on the big screen though. not all the parts are true to the anime series, some truncated and some edited. whats true? that they race every other epsiode without havin to worrying about their day jobs. nice fanatasy eh?
i went to westmall to catch initial D movie. not exactly a gathering that i had wished but thanks for showin up :) there were jiarong(guy). although the name jiarong sounds like a girl's name, he is far from being ger-ger. dreams of fast car, swirl around traffic, blasts wkrz music, partying all nites in Australia despite of 10 assignment in 3 days? O. K. movin along.
he jus came back from Australia for holidays. goin to grad at around 2008. translation:more of the good life at Australia till 2008. with SUPER cheap liquor, he is bascially gulping down VODKA. that is so UNFAIR...wats goin to happen to wholesome and healthy water!!?!?...ok maybe i am jus jealous. :p he joined us for dinner, as he is very much needed at his younger sister's birthday party.
then there were others who turned up. Derrick Oon(pronounced as wound) leslie benson and qun xiang. pathetic numbers if i do say. BUT, fun is not dependent on the number of pple...thank god.
leslie was goin watching another movie on the same day. movie marathon? nope. haha...(censored by -kaze.blogspot.com;reason : (none))hahaha....
kk...the LiNG progess report card.
LiNG shld be out in manufacturing at around 8 July. fabricating the PCB by July 15. if not, please give me all you got(and i mean thrasing not your money). oh...i think i forgot to mention that LiNG is actually a twin. because both the auto and r/c sumo competition might be held at the same time. as LiNG might had a prob doin a 'split', so we might be giving birth to 2.
hehe...one is for r/c(remote control). that child will be under custody of weichien. and the other child(automated) will be naturally under my custody. hahahaha...muhahahaha
recently, i have been havin certain irregular spasms of anger. hmmm...consulting the 5 elements, this anger fits might last a few months(summer season). the summer season, in element of fire. personally, i am in the day element of water, plentiful of metal covered in ground. presence of fire, and lacking wood. all the anger is 'buring' away all the wood(intelligence). haiz...anyhow...have to be more careful(this is a warning meant for all)

i am writing this as a reminder to myself. LiNG is my dream. and dreams dun just happen like that. MAKE THAT HAPPEN...
this is my oath to LiNG :
- I will know every single detail that is to know about her
facts, figure, components and design
- I will feel every single detail that LiNG has to go through for her to clinch the champion seat
- I will cherish every limitation that is imposed on her as mercy on her opponents
- I will respect all who fall at her prowess as their leniency towards her
maxferes oath to the unborn LiNG.
may your birthdate draw nearer and nearer

today...now...end of week5 panel review number 1 and end of my lunch
feeling all draggy and tired. wonder wats the thing at work here. lost will be the more appropriate word for the moment.
last night something happened. weird thing again. last night as i was talking to a leslie, something he mentioned jus got my flares all buring. leslie was the supportive figure behind the meiling pursuit. hehe...so roughly i think it is quite obvious the direction of the following passage.
he told me that he was crashing serene's class yesterday. all of a sudden he apologise for not informin that meiling was coming down yesterday, because serene took his phone. i must admit i was thinking maybe a little too hard and anger in OT.
-- in my brain --
was kinda of angry...firstly, erm...pissed. not because of the gesture that leslie was goin to inform me. actually i didnt need the information but appreciate the thought behind the guesture. rather it was the idea, that they thot i needed very much the information.
hmmm...at this point, i guess better to illustrate my point
alan
leslie
serene
leslie : "give information to alan about meiling comin down"
alan : "appreciate the kind thot behind guesture but dun really NEED the information" AND didnt recieve anyt 'TIPOFF'
serene : "dun wanna give that information to alan" (for god knows reasons)
the above scenerio was the scene that was playing in my brain...
somehow in the brain representation of serene was not very appealing. rather like those in protective light of her fren from a potential slim-ball pest. and i think this is quite obvious the reason that i got pissed.
-- end of alan's brain reality --
-- ACTUAL FACT (the things that did really happen in real life) --
yesterday (23rd June 2005)
i was at alpha centre all day.
the only thing i knew was that leslie was comin down to crash serene's lect.
joyce still has IVP seeding to play at. tml panel review number 1.
now still doin last minute touch ups for presentation slides.
got wind that bryan lost to jonas from joyce, who went and peeped at the match.
Finished presentation at around 2000+.
phone NEVER(meaning:suggests the following event will not) rang nor had a single sms.
went to squash court(reason:to see to look, y i wanna go? because i wanna jus go c c look look...to see anyone in particular but jus to get whiff of bloody sweating ppl, can?!)
reach the courts, saw stephen, ryan and denise. sat down, chit chat, then left!!!
it was not till later at nite, while talkin to leslie that i know that meiling was even at NP watching the matches too!
-- end of reality bites --
was pretty flared up last nite. who wouldnt? got the impression that i was being thot of as a pest. left torrent opened to download bleach episode 37 while i sleep and cool off. leslie took care of the rest, i think.

finally back with the mood to write about my pelapah trekking trip experience
the last i stopped at the wait the long wait for singapore bus service numnber 170. did i mention that there were actually some councillors who carried more than the 30L load. one of them carrying 80L(i think). watching him break sweat simply inspired me to do the same. next plan for trip to carry super load!!! shld be around 50L-60L
the bus ride was only from the msian customs to the Larkin bus interchange. there were no intermittent stops to pick up more passengers. when all the 4 groups reached Larkin, we assembled at a spot somewhere outside the Marybrown fastfood resturant. we laid our bags at the assembly point, during the lunch break. the some of the councillors stayed back to keep watch of our bags, while the other councillors got food.
by that time all of us we paired nicely within our groups. this buddy system was implemented by the councillors to ensure our safety during the trek and trip. as there was an excessive amount of guys within each group, the councillors made a small request while we paired. they had wished that the guys within each group would pair up with girls first. the remaining guys then had the freedom to pair up with the remaining guys in the group.
i didnt see myself as the caretaker kind of person. thus i waited till every other girl was paired up in the group. although i may be the most ELDER and might be the most 'experienced' in terms of trekking, ...oh well, i dun think i am cut for the job of a care taker anyway. i got paired up with XiYue(male). XiYue in mandarin means joy. haha...it was pure irony, trust me.
xi yue and i left the assembly point to look for lunch. i was initially quite tempted to step into the Marybrown, as it was the only fastfood resturant i first chanced upon. like i said, i was only tempted, when i saw the image of KFC super-imposed on it, the resturant simply lost its appeal. haha...jus then the internationally recognized M appeared in a far distance.
after the lunch, the bunch of us was again seperated. there were 2 coaches taking us to our final destination. thus, 2 groups to a coach. all i can remember from the short 1 hr bus trip is the lackof air-conditioning system on board. i was half asleep and half sweating all the way. by the way, did i mention that there were no watches allowed on the trip.
i can understand the reason behind no electronic equipments and devices, but no watch?! my watch jus so happens to be from the Casio pro trek series, with compass, barometer, temperature and altitude meters and capabilities. with all that fancy features packed into a watch(which luckily still tells time), they actually restricted me to leave it in Singapore. boooooriiiiinng.
KOTA TINGGI!!! yes...as it turns out, pelapah waterfall was somewhere near kota tinggi waterfall resort. ARH!!! kota tinggi again. remembering from memory, the last time i went with a bunch of my 'brothers', it was awesome. jus to add, i am referring to the kota tinggi waterfall resort. the cool waters was something i cannot forget.
coming back to reality, we alighted the bus and got into position to do some minimal stretching before the trip. did i mention that the ground was searingly HOT! after the stretch we got did the last minute waterproofing for our bags and changed into appropriate attire. some changed into wet shoes(those used in water sports). i wonder if they got burns...hehe.
the climb up was extraordinary. at the beginning of the trip, i honestly had certain expectations. i actually thot that it would be something like a walk in the forest, or something similar. haha...as it turns out, it was MORE. there were some vertical climbs on certain slopes, and steep incline up the pelapah waterfall. hehe...the vertical climb was not so much of the highlight due to the short height.
the highlight climb will be the pelapah waterfall climb. the steep incline was divided into two sections, with a flat terrain in the middle. haha...when i first caught sight of the waterfall, i could only see the first incline and i hasnt cease to amaze. the rocks were slippery due to the long exposure to water. in actual fact, the climb was less than dangerous all thanks to the councillor who broke the path up. THANKS!
when i got up to the flat side of the incline after the first section, the view downwards at my fellow trekkers was SPECTACULAR. looking at everyone and at life, then can you understand the thirst and motivation for power. the remanining distance till the campsite was jus a matter of endurance and persistance.
the campsite was all covered with white sand. ok...maybe not purely white sand. the girls and guys were supposed to pitch tents on two different side of the campsite. each tent was called 8 men tent, as the name suggests, we will have to do maths again. haha...i ended up with the rest of Horny 8 and it started the beginning of Horny 8. horny 8 is the name we gave to the 8 guys that spent the night together under the same tent.
the campfire was cancelled that night due to the impending thunderstorm. we even had to rush through with the outdoor cooking of our food. actually, i wasnt so much into havin the campfire. i was not much of the campfire singing and gigs person. haha...but i guess everyone was jus too energtic to sleep. the horny 8 started to pollute the air with noise. here there and everywhere.
haha...the trip was a blast. hope i can continue to keep more of these interesting memories. oh...there will be another trip next month...yea~~cant wait

the campsite was all covered with white sand. ok...maybe not purely white sand. the girls and guys were supposed to pitch tents on two different side of the campsite. each tent was called 8 men tent, as the name suggests, we will have to do maths again. haha...i ended up with the rest of Horny 8 and it started the beginning of Horny 8. horny 8 is the name we gave to the 8 guys that spent the night together under the same tent.
the campfire was cancelled that night due to the impending thunderstorm. we even had to rush through with the outdoor cooking of our food. actually, i wasnt so much into havin the campfire. i was not much of the campfire singing and gigs person. haha...but i guess everyone was jus too energtic to sleep. the horny 8 started to pollute the air with noise. here there and everywhere.
haha...the trip was a blast. hope i can continue to keep more of these interesting memories. oh...there will be another trip next month...yea~~cant wait

today...one neck sunburn + multiple 'kisses'
firstly, to address the 'complain' by miss smallfry(alicia) on why i haven been updating. the reason : read below...muhahahahaha...
main topic
yesterday i came back from Msia AGAIN. yes again. i was in msia for the weekend. okok..recollection for those who are lost, especially miss smallfry
it started on Friday 17 June. that was the day i was supposed to go on a trekking trip to pelapah(hopefully i didnt spelt it wrong) waterfall. the details of the trip were sketchy, hmmm might be because i didnt go for the briefing. anyway, they were very secretive on their part about the whole trip. i really hoped they had told me more about it. oops...forgot to mention. i went with NP CCA grp, the Adventure Seekers.
why the sudden interest in trekking? hmmm...reason 1 : to deco my CCA. reason 2 : to move my CCA UP. reason 3 : to at least look that i did something other than study at my stay in NP. to be ultimately HONEST and FRANK, each trip will be awarded 1 CCA point. haha...materialistic yes.
so it was. we gathered in NP on 17 june at 1830. at this point, please dun think that we are so courageous, or at least i am so courageous to trek in the dark. it was actually the clubs' idea to meet on friday, stay overnight and leave on saturday morning. the reason being that they had hoped to push off in full attendance in the morning, wee morning. well, cant blame them for their thoughtfulness and they didnt try their best to let us not waste our Friday evening at campus. BIG THANKS for the effort.
i fell asleep in the sports hall at around 0100++. as i fell asleep i stared into the silat(malay martial arts) competition setup for the weekend. i woke up at around 0400+++ near 0500. i wasnt exactly asleep, i guess~. i remembered distinctive watching the counciller(from the Adventure Seekers) approached me and waking me up. wow...talk about being alert even when being asleep.
the trip begins. i hussled to breakfast with the group that i was assigned to. The Graphorns. a mythical 4-legged creature with powerful hide against spells. wow!!! a very aggressive creature to add. haha...everyone was basically stoning at breakfast, except those little few morning people. breakfast meal : bread + meshed egg + segmented sauages + kaya(an asian spread). after breakfast and its away we go, onto the charted bus and towards the woodlands checkpoint.
after we passed the singapore customs, we walked the remaining distance of the causeway. i am now proud to say i have used 4 modes of transport over to Msia. by car, by bus, by train and now by my own two legs. YEA~~~!!! the customs were smooth although i cant say much about the wait for the bus.
after the msian customs, we were awaiting the singapore bus service number 170. this was one of the few buses that come thru the customs, including 160 and 960, as far as i know of. the entire bunch of us were divided nicely into 4 different groups excluding the councillors. only 2 groups managed to squeeze up the first 170 we came across after the msian customs. the Graphorns werent so lucky. nevertheless, we waited, on what seems to be the most dangerous encounter i have with buses and coaches.
the remaining two groups were accompanied by half of the accompanying councillors and we waited ON the side of the road. i repeat, NOT on the pavement(which would in singapore context HAVE been there) but ON the road. with the coaches and buses, just merely brushing us by. kinda of like how takumi(initial D, male lead) brushes jus mere centimetres off the roadside railings. now i really pity those railings, you really have to be in someone else's shoes to see from their perspective.
the wait was rather long, or was it the mind telling my body to relax!!! everyone of us was carrying a load of near 30L(litres) of our neccesity and luxuries(mess tin, lots maggi mee and can food).
toilet break...will be rite back...
muhahaha...back!! was away for dinner as well
now currently still in school. exact location school library, under the request of weichong to study for the upcomin MSD in-class tutorial test.so why am i typing away? he is still in the midst of discussion of his project presentation with his teammates. hehe...might as well take the chance to update on LiNG's progress.
heading for the presentation number 1 on this friday. hope everything boils well. presentation materials is about done, except for the last 10%. about the casting materials need to get some referrence from the TSO(techincal support officer). starting the preparation for the review number 2 5 weeks from now.
gotta move 'house' soon...talk later
back to main topic...

today...
current geographical location : Ngee Ann Poly, blk 47, level 4, #02.
current mission : attend DCIS
then why am i blabbing away here? OF COURSE, i have important things to update thats why i am here.
yesterday, i had a one day trip to Malaysia, Lapis(thats how it sounded in everybody's mouth). why am i there? to attend wedding LUNCH! haha...imagine all the YAM SENG(chinese traditional toasting) happening all in the bloody hot mid-day. roasting pig is jus an understatement to describe us.
the lecturer started talking already. BUT what the hell. :)
the best part abt the wedding lunch was the desert. ICE CREAM!!!a pity though, the only flavor that got to my table was chocolate. can tell that i am not quite a fan of chocolate flavour.
the other point to highlight was the portion of food that came. IT WAS WHOPPING HUGE. i have to admit that whenever i attend wedding dinners, i usually clear the plates, to faciliate the washing of dishes. BUT NO~~, the portion of the wedding lunch left me so freaking full that i had to drag my stomach through the finish line.
there was a whole bunch of us who went in to attend the wedding lunch. heres the list : my maternal grandma; her 2 sons and 2 daughters(one of them is my mother); their individual spouses; their offsprings; their offspring(Yong Sheng). hmmm..who is this mysterious and yet cute character?
hmmm...better pause here...continue later...
back...
yong sheng is the son of Ah Chuan. Ah Chuan is my god-brother as well as the son of my god-mother. of whom, i had previously explained that, my god-mother was also my 2nd uncle's wife. hehe...quite a mouthful i shld say. i was never good at all this network of relations. Yong sheng was kinda of the 'king' on the trip. almost everyone has to give in to him. otherwise he might jus threathen to cry, and he really threatens. yong sheng is already a few years old, and one can tell how pampered he already is enjoying.
i think he kinda of made grandma VERY VERY unhappy. not the crying part, rather the hitting anybody part. reserved is NOT the word to describe yong sheng. he is rather pure wilful, thus anyone who cannot agree with him, will suffer his bashing. grandma was unhappy about yong sheng even hitting his own father. despite his yong age, these are basic morality that WE asians shld possess.
till this point, i think i have very successfully created a very negative image of yong sheng, however, i reassure that is not my point. personally, i think he jus a very very bright and intelligent, who lacks discipline. imagine his brains ability to whip out crying as a threat to the adults to get to his way. if guided properly, he might jus rise to be the next nobel prize winner.
then there was weiqi. another problem child. she is the daughter of my aunt(my mother's younger sister). she embodies the epitome of what i think typical woman is. she is petty, gullible and studies business. correction, forced into studying business by father. whats my grudge with her? none. rather she holds something against me.
i think it shld be THAT particular incident that happened. it was happened quite sometime back. she phoned me very late one night, asking me for help, financially. being the very curious type, i probed. she had restricted access to her own savings because of her mother. armed with the information, that her family is more more more well off than mine and she is like borrowing money from me?
it turns out that her fren was in need of money. the sum wasnt like 20 or 30. it was in a few hundreds. the only profile i got from her regarding her fren was that he was in need of money to top up fuel in his vehicle.
again..another pause...
back to story...
seriously, how many ppl in singapore have vehicle's fuel tank that would require a few hundreds to top up? even the government dun have such a vehicle, i think. she was half crying and half talkin over the phone. i was trying hard to resist the temptation, of giving in to her because she was crying. luckily, i did say no to her. before, she hung up. she specifically told me not to tell her mummy. the whole thing smells of trouble.
well, i think you can guessed what happened next. i told my mum and my mum told her mum. the typical women networkin of information. my aunt did the next responsible thing. she kept mum about her information source and talked to her daughter. eventually, my aunt evaulated the situation and deemed it neccessary to approach the police. well, she hasnt been talkin to me ever since. like i really care, if she is not talkin to me. :p she can ignore me till either her deathbed or my deathbed, i dun care.
the wedding lunch was also an interesting study of the local culture. well it seems that lapis(actual spelling might differ) is quite a remote small town in comparison to KL and JB. a kampong(small village) i might add. it seems that they have a really good culture over there. the whole busload of Singaporean(us) reached the designated resturant at around 1200+. the wedding lunch was scheduled supposedly at 1330.
the whole bunch of us hung around that area. the ladies went around to get some help in the 'reconstruction', while we guys jus hung loose. both my uncles, my father, yong sheng and i went to the not so nearby coffee shop for a slight dim sum(cantonese culture for high tea). to our amazement, the whole resturant was suddenly full, when the dim sum dishes were JUST served.
generalisation about them. they are super punctual and have little orderliness. they they all seemed to jus appear from nowhere.suddenly filling up all the seats, both inside and outside. inside referring to the air-conditioned section and outside referring to the warmer exterior section. we were from the bride's side, naturally, shld occupy the interior section together with the bridegroom's family. sadly we found an empty table outside. well, spirits were not dampen, thats for sure. because the whole load of us were together. yea!! not to mention the amount of time they took to split. WOW!!! super efficient.
the other thing was orderliness. apparaently, we singaporeans thought that there would be seats reserved for our 'precious' little butts. we thought wrong. the culture there was on a first come first serve basis.
pause...
now to finish everything within my 2hrs break.
we went shopping after the wedding lunch, at ioi mall somewhere in senai(i think). the shopping centre was incredibly HUGE. judging by the sheer exterior size of the mall, i was afraid that we couldnt finish shopping within the short 1hr.
well, things in this world are not meant to be so easily predicted. i was only a 2 level shoppin centre, with most of the shops closed for the day. there was a really big concourse right smacked in the middle housing about 5 cars one stage and still room for at least a packed hundred plus people.
i only got a t-shirt from the mall. i did alot of walkin though. pacing in and out of the mall. the first time i stepped out was with ah san(my mother's elder sister's son). stepped back into mall and subsequently escorted a few other person out too. the ride back was a good rest. dozing all the way.
haha...to conclude, the whole experience was fun and yet somehow lacking something. hmmm...companion? the whole trip was filled with couples or was it part of my imagination? lets have a name the singles competition. those who were single on the trip was : robin, ah san, yong sheng, weiqi, grandma and the bridegroom's sister. basis for judging if they are single : they looked single on the trip.
i guess its something to do with the weddings that i have been attending so far. jus on saturday i was attending another 2 wedding. hehe...dun worry its not the sudden wedding surge in singapore. i attended for pure business sake. i am working part time as a cater-er, remember?
guess its jus another passing phase. oh well...i guess thats everything...YEA!!! now for LiNG. panel review soon. prep-in for the review. hope i dun fall short of expectations. reason? i got over-performing senior, Francis. bleah...

right now...at school. more specifically at alpha centre.
my lessons in actual fact starts around 1300 today. today is the Inter-Discipline module day. why am i in school so early? LiNG. a short sweet answer. now doin the looking through the schematic diagrams again, with hopes of gainin more insights and understanding.
alot of things are goin to happen. heres the overview. on friday, book prize presentation award ceremony. on saturday, goin into sempang(if i spelt wrongly;it shld be the famous hometown of all durians) for a wedding dinner. and if you didnt already know, its my god-sister's wedding. she married a malaysian, thus 2 wedding dinners. then next monday, Project HomeWork 2nd meeting.
wat is Project HomeWork? its a business initiative that a couple of frens asked me to join. wat are we doin? hehe...if you are clever enough maybe you can tell from our project name. no xtra information and hint will be provided.
actually, i am like abit crazy rite? Poly final year, part-time working on weekends, Final year project LiNG and to top that doin this biz thingy with a few frens. haha...must be short circuited somewhere in the brain.
recently, i have been wanting to pick up more CCA points. that would require my participation in more activities other than studying, making money, doin project and starting a biz. muhahahahaha. hmmm...actually i have always been wondering if any one has ever worked himself/herself to death? :) jus wondering...
today there will be another NLP lesson. so far the NLP lessons are like godsend. it seems to be the only subject that i have taken which formularise emotions, behaviour and actions. and the way NLP formularise it can only be described as...BEAUTIFUL. hope i can learn more in NLP, cos i think it will definitely help in my understanding of people around me, especially the F species.
lately, more than ever, my pillow is getting crushed like nobody's business. explanation:on my bed, there exists 2 pillow, 1 bolster and 1 blanket. 1 pillow for my head to rest on. 1 pillow for me to hug within my arms. 1 bolster that will go neatly between my legs. the blanket, jus for cases of emergency, like extreme cold.
the pillow that i getting crushed is obviously NOT the one that my head rests on. recently, i noticed the pillow jus got a very successful diet. slimmed down a few centimetres around its waist area. apparently, i have been huggin it too much. i think wat my sub-brain is trying to convey through my body to my con-brain is perhaps that sense of loneliness.
i guess at one or more points in life, anyone will be feeling lonely. that immense sensation that flows through the brain when in huggin action, baffles me. how can such a simple action as huggin, produce such a phemonenal sensation?....(the author is now lost in thoughts...)

yesterday...joyous occasion
yesterday was the day my god-sister got married. this is the official god-sister, not one of those god-sis that young school children declare every now and then.wondering why all of a sudden god-sister character popped out?
actually it all began when i was a tad younger. the images are vague, but the rough content are still there. i remember a particular stranger male in the mid-30s saying something to my mummy. something along the line of getting me a god-mother. the rest of the images that remained intact was about the fervous discussion to approach who. obvious its the discussion between 2 of the most impt women in my childhood years, mummy and grandmother(maternal).
in the end, they approached my 2nd uncle's wife. this uncle was my mother's elder brother, make that the 2nd elder brother. to add to that, from that moment after the ceremony, he will have additional status. for my brain at that age, i still had difficulty to comprehend that complex relationship situtation they setting me in.
i was never good in the whole addressing relatives things. now, they jus made it worse for me. i used to address him as Jiu-Jiu(brothers relating to mother). then the usually father will be addressed as Fu or Pa. the end result, i have to now address him as Jiu-Fu and his wife, Jiu-Mu.
frankly, this post is really very difficult to produce.
maybe its because i have started to realise that i sorta owe them something, my duty as their god-son. i must admit, i am not actually doin my part. haiz...i really hope i can do a little something for them.
but heres my congrats to my god-sister and her husband. eternal bliss.
oops...almost forgot to update on the progress of LiNG. so far the mechanical drawing is nearing completion. doin embodiment carefully filling in all the details, dimensions and spaces. soon, week 3 is coming, time runs like nobody's biz.
yesterday was the day my god-sister got married. this is the official god-sister, not one of those god-sis that young school children declare every now and then.wondering why all of a sudden god-sister character popped out?
actually it all began when i was a tad younger. the images are vague, but the rough content are still there. i remember a particular stranger male in the mid-30s saying something to my mummy. something along the line of getting me a god-mother. the rest of the images that remained intact was about the fervous discussion to approach who. obvious its the discussion between 2 of the most impt women in my childhood years, mummy and grandmother(maternal).
in the end, they approached my 2nd uncle's wife. this uncle was my mother's elder brother, make that the 2nd elder brother. to add to that, from that moment after the ceremony, he will have additional status. for my brain at that age, i still had difficulty to comprehend that complex relationship situtation they setting me in.
